I have a passion and yearning for the sea and big skies.
My inspiration comes from a love of the sea, sky and the natural world around us. In particular I have a love for the Cornish Coast which resonates with me because of frequent trips to Fowey in Cornwall.
My art is mainly semi-abstract using acrylics, oils, watercolour and texture. I paint instinctively and intuitively. I paint from my emotions, and how how a piece makes me feel is the most important factor for me.
I’m mainly self taught, but being a member of local artist communities has been so useful in my art journey. I am a member of Abingdon Artists and West Ox Arts and exhibit with these groups a few times a year. I sell my art via local exhibitions, my website and Instagram. Selected pieces can also be purchased from The Old Bank Gallery in Fowey, Cornwall and Dolphin Gallery in Wantage, Oxfordshire. I also take part in Oxfordshire Artweeks.
